Well, we did it...
Somehow.
This move was not anything I would have ever imagined for myself or my family but we pulled it off. Matt was offered this job on a thursday morning in july and naturally accepted without hesitation. Naturally. He was to report to work the following monday to his new location in Gilroy, California! So exciting, Right? WRONG! I would have to say there have been about four genuinely exciting moments so far along this journey and each and everyone more bizarre than the last. It begins with dropping off the Budget rental truck and just goes up from there. I have run into just about every obstacle and challenge this "adventure" has on it's plate and I am exhausted. I have finally arranged for child care for the kids and have a job so that's a start. I am thinking things can truly only go up from here.
List of things to do in the days to come are:
1) Get my butt back to the docta so i can get this ADD back in order. (for both matt and myself...mostly matt haha)
2) Settle in at work.
3) Take a deep breath, several different times, on several different days to come.
Work in progress....
Matt's home!..Shots a callin!
